The Agriculture Bill Consultation is an important and necessary step in realising the Scottish Government’s Vision for Agriculture and transforming support for farming and food production to become a global leader in sustainable and regenerative agriculture.

The Scottish Government Consultation on the Agriculture Bill 2022 can be found here. We are currently working through this consultation document, devising our response to ensure the Scottish organic sector views are represented.
We will shortly be consulting SOPA members on their views for the future of food and farming support in Scotland.
In support of the consultation, the Scottish Government has announced a series of consultation events that will take place over the next few months. These events are run by ScotGov staff to give background and explore the implications in the Agriculture Bill.
