Gemma is a passionate advocate of organic farming. She is managing director of family run business, Cope Seeds and Grain, the UK’s largest organic seed producer and supplier, based in Lincolnshire trading cereal, pulse and grass seed across the UK.

Gemma is well connected with plant breeders not only in the UK but across Europe and invests heavily in trialling material from European plant breeders to find varieties suitable for organic farming.

Cope Seeds and Grain also trades organic grains and pulses across the UK and actively champions the UK's organic produce, opening markets into Europe post Brexit.

Gemma believes in connecting world renowned plant breeders to organic farmers and to organic end markets, thus helping to offer agronomic and quality improvements across the entire chain.
